TERMS
AND CONDITIONS
The following are terms and conditions for renting Beachside
Poipu Hale.
CREDIT CARDS: We accept Visa & Mastercard. You
may call us toll free at 888-743-1331 with your credit card
number. Or if you prefer check, money order, cashiers check
or cash, that’s o.k. too. We want to make it easy for
you!
DEPOSITS : We need to receive one half the total
due (these funds will act as your deposit) within 7 days of
booking in order to hold your reservation. The balance is
due no later than 60 days prior to your arrival.
RENT : The full rental payment is 60 days prior to
arrival, except for reservations which include the dates 12/20-/1/05;
this full rental payment is due 90 days prior to arrival.
If your payment is not received by the due date, your reservation
will be subject to cancellation. Rents must be paid in U.S.
funds.
CANCELLATIONS : You have the right to cancel with
60 days written notice (90 days notice for reservations which
include the dates 12/20-01/05). With timely cancellation notice,
all advance funds will be returned less a $50 cancellation
fee. If your reservation includes the dates 12/20-01/05, there
will be a $200 cancellation fee. If, less than 60 days written
notice (or 90 days during the 12/20-01/05 period), all advance
funds will be forfeited unless we can re-book your rental
dates. There are no refunds for early departure unless we
are able to rebook the room.
TRAVEL INSURANCE : We advise all guests to secure
travel insurance to protect you against various cancellations
that may occur. Travel insurance typically covers your losses
if family medical crises or certain other emergencies force
you to abandon or abbreviate a trip. There are a number of
different companies offering travel insurance over the internet.

insurance” produced the following five companies first:

We have no personal experience with any of these companies
and therefore cannot recommend any of them.

CHANGE FEES : For reservations which include the
dates 12/20-01/05, there will be a $10 change fee for each
revision made.
Cleaning Fees : Our Suites have
the following out cleaning fees: Front house (combination
of Surfrider & Tidepools)-$250, Whole Back House (combination
of Breakers, Hibiscus & Seaside Suites)-$275, Surfrider-$120,
Tidepools-$120, Breakers-$110, Hibiscus-$80, Seaside-$80.
The house or suites will be expertly cleaned prior to your
arrival, and again after your departure. You may arrange with
us for personal cleaning during your stay for an additional
fee.
SECURITY AND LOST ITEM FEES : By giving us your credit
card number, you agree to be responsible for additional housekeeping
charges (for excessive cleaning, laundry or check out past
11AM), damage to the property, evidence of smoking inside
your Suite (ALL UNITS ARE NON-SMOKING), use
beyond the scope (no parties, receptions, luaus or other commercial
use) without prior approval, occupancy beyond permitted maximum
number of people and lost items
Before checking out, please be certain to check your car
trunk for any beach towels or beach chairs. There is a
$25 fee for lost keys, beach chairs or towels.

MINIMUM STAY REQUIREMENTS: There is a 14 day minimum
stay for all home bookings which include the dates 12/20-01/05,
and 7 day minimum for the other suites.
CHECK-IN TIME: 4:00 p.m. CHECK-OUT TIME: 10:00 a.m.
for houses, 11:00am for individual suites.
ACCOMMODATIONS : This information, while deemed reliable,
is not guaranteed. Distances to the beach are approximate.
Every effort has been made to assure accurate descriptions.
Changes in inventory or items and/or decor occur from time
to time and such changes will not void or alter the terms
of the rental agreement

SECURITY OF THE HOME AND RENTAL EQUIPMENT: When you
lease the home or suites you assume full responsibility for
it and its contents, as well as your personal property. Always
lock the doors and windows when you leave. Lock your automobiles
and put away any rental equipment. Any use of rented equipment
by the Guests is strictly at your own risk, liability and
could cause you to incur additional expenses.
TELEPHONE : All suites are equipped with telephones
for your convenience and safety. Long distance blocks which
cannot be removed are on all telephones and require a credit
card to make long distance calls. Local calls are free.

MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS: We make every effort to ensure
that all equipment within each rental is in working order.
In the event of a breakdown, we will strive to repair it as
soon as possible after being notified of a problem. We cannot
guarantee that spas, air conditioners, televisions, appliances,
etc. will not break down during your stay and therefore, no
refunds or adjustments will be made for mechanical failure.
Furthermore, there will be no refunds or adjustments made
for any other unexpected situation beyond our control such
as bugs, rodents, roosters, weather and the like.
Rates are subject to change without notice.
All rates subject to Hawaii State Taxes of GET (General Excise
Tax) 4.16% & TAT (Hotel Tax) 7.25%.
No discounts will be in effect during the 12/20-01/05 holiday
period.

All suites are NON-SMOKING . Guests may
smoke on their private lanais.
